Dale Rex

Dale Rex graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in May 2012. While there he received the Distinguished Student Award for his work in the OU Legal Clinic where he argued and won a case in the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, an opportunity few attorneys have, much less law students. With a passion for seeing things done, and done right, he makes a valuable addition at Sweeney | Rex.

During law school, Dale established a reputation for excellence, and a passion for getting results. He was inducted into the Order of the Barristers and participated in numerous competitions. He also enjoyed volunteering his time to those in need through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and the OU Legal Clinic where he gained valuable trial and appellate court experience. Dale has put that experience to good use at Sweeney, Draper & Christopher taking on Federal Court cases and complex litigation immediately.

Dale has experience handling cases in the following areas: personal injury, real estate, lemon law and other automobile sales issues, contracts, business organizations, estate planning and probate, guardianship, adoption, civil rights, divorce, and other domestic proceedings.

Prior to law school, Dale graduated from Brigham Young University in 2008 with a degree in music. He continues to seek opportunities to play his trumpet in local church and community groups. He also spent two years as a missionary for his church in the Dominican Republic where he learned to speak Spanish fluently. Dale is an Eagle Scout and continues to enjoy volunteering in the Boy Scouts of America.

Dale and his wife, Judy, live in Ada with their four children.
